Well, this is the beginning of a beautiful relationship, myself and my beverage.

This new blog will be about the everyday adventures from past and present of Wild Bill, a beer connoisseur that I’m not and a world traveler only some what. Anyone can talk about the find taste of the hops and barley of a tasty beer but can you truly tell me about the fun events that led up to the drinking of these fine spirits. I can and I will and just maybe (only if I can remember) I’ll tell you what happens after.

Now about my profile photo, do I really look like Steve McQueen, of course not but my dad did and he acted a lot like him. So I dedicate my wild lifestyle and this blog to a great father who told me to never be afraid of trying anything.

October is one of my favorite months, a time for chili and cornbread, carmel apples and other sweets, and because of the cooler weather, stouts and ales.

I picked up a six pack of Full Sail Amber Ale from Full Sail Brewing Co. in Hood River, Oregon. At first I thought this was going to taste like some weak ass beer but at 5.5% alcohol by vol. and pleasant after taste similar to an Indian Pale ale this beer did me right. I ended up buying this every weekend for the whole month of October. This tasty drink went well with the Halloween events, costume parties, football games and the World Series (even though my team wasn't present)!

This post was a little bland but I assure you the stories will start rolling in.
